powercloud integrates iXenso output management as a powerApp: Pace-setter for customer communication and PDF/online billing

Logo powercloud

  • Customizable approach specifically for energy suppliers
  • Output management is comprehensively linked with powercloud
  • Dynamically generated files ensure increased efficiency

(powercloud, Offenburg, 19.1.2021) Enterprise Output Management (EOM) is a central building block in the digitalization of many power supply companies (PSCs) – and for good reason: The automated creation of PDF files, emails, etc. massively reduces the effort and costs involved in customer communication. Key basic requirements for success: EOM systems must be connected to the company’s workflows and content in a faultless and completely smooth manner. That is precisely what forms the technological basis of the new offer from powercloud: The SaaS solution for the energy industry can now be connected absolutely seamlessly with the highly efficient EOM system from iXenso, a digitalization specialist headquartered in Freiburg, Germany.

This enables PSC users to benefit from the pace-setters in the customer communications industry: The desired output files are dynamically generated and fed into the required channels based on the input from the powercloud and the customer master data. It is no longer necessary to create and maintain different templates and versions of a form. Instead, a multi-template construction kit is used. Individual process steps are defined simply using “drag & drop”. “We are very confident in this solution, which plays to its strengths in the complex and multifaceted field of customer communication in the energy industry” explains Thomas Kleiner, CEO and founder of iXenso. “Our scalable EOM system is perfectly suited to mass production and, at the same time, can be adapted to the PSC’s highly specific needs. The subsequent process ranges from automated text-block creation, including the customer approach, through to linking the communication with the associated contract in the powercloud digital archive. It doesn’t get any easier or faster than that.”

Our Culture Our Brand

What many companies are planning in the meantime, has been common practice at iXenso AG for many years. We offer our employees a high degree of participation in a flat hierarchy. Everyone gets the chance to leave their own personal footprint, to personal development and to go on with their Self-realization.

On the business cards of our employees you will not find any titles like team or department manager, the disciplinary management of the nearly 80 employees comes directly from the board. This reduces decision-making processes enormously and saves frictional losses.

Nevertheless, each individual can take responsibility. Be it in an internal or external project, or as a service owner in one of the areas or functions. In the services our processes are identified and defined, but also further developed, strategically aligned and synchronized with the other areas.

At iXenso transparency is created by a meeting matrix, in which the company’s meeting culture is defined. Weekly stand-up meetings give our employees the chance to get involved and to inform themselves about the latest topics from different areas. On a quarterly basis, the management provides information on Figures & Facts as well as on the strategic orientation of the organization. Regular jourfixes with the service owners help to make decisions, prioritize topics and transport information to the individual business units.

The management is supported by the Steering Board, which is staffed by experienced employees. This is where the strategic orientation is advanced, decisions are made and the development of the corporate structure as such is promoted. At the same time, conflicts are identified, discussed and resolved as sustainably as possible.

But: nothing is forever! We scrutinize ourselves and constantly reinvent ourselves

Interview with Thomas Kleiner at the Digital X Southwest

“The little digital champions are a success factor in the Southwest”

Digitization allows processes to be optimized, because it allows processes to be streamlined significantly. Thomas Kleiner of iXenso explains why this is important at Digital X Southwest.

What does your company do?
Thomas Kleiner: The company is active in the field of digital transformation, i.e. it supports customers in the area of digital transformation, archiving and the optimization of business processes.

Why is your company a Digital Champion?
Thomas Kleiner: We have now completely digitalized our internal processes in the last year. This means that we are now completely digital ourselves and are also advising our customers on this step of digitalization.

How do you get your employees excited about digitization?
Thomas Kleiner: Well, we have also adapted the organizational form of digitization because the speed of digitization requires an agile form of company, which means we have very flat hierarchies. We have service owners, we have small agile cells that act and work independently, and because of this transparent information from the management, the employees are automatically taken along on this path.

What do you appreciate about the southwest region
Thomas Kleiner: I mean, these small many digital champions that exist, these hidden champions that are everywhere, that give these impulses to the renowned and established companies in the region. I think that is one of the success factors in the southwest region.
