iXenso digitises the energy industry

PowerCloudFor several months now, the iXenso Group has been cooperating with the leading provider in the area of EVU platforms, Powercloud from Achern. The aim of the partnership is to develop digital solutions for the energy industry and then make them available to Powercloud customers as powerApp. In doing so, we always want to remain true to our roots: ECM.
We are already at the start with a cloud-based enterprise solution for output management. iXenso generates the PDF files for the event-controlled Powercloud. From the customer order to the final invoice, we accompany the complete customer life cycle with documents – made in Freiburg.
The automated creation of documents significantly reduces the effort and costs for energy providers. A solution tailored to the needs of the energy industry acts as a cost reducer and pacesetter for customer communication. The enterprise approach enables us to meet the high demands of the energy industry.

Whether company logo, company data, texts or rules, everything is stored in a central repository and linked to the forms accordingly. This minimises the ongoing effort and also prevents version conflicts and the time-consuming scattering of content changes.
Our experts are already involved in the first EVU customer projects. It gives us great pleasure to simplify the processes of municipal utilities and suppliers with digital solutions. We are looking forward to the coming months and the many successful projects.

Revision security – old hat or brand new?

RevisionssicherheitOR Are your documents securely stored?

From time to time, companies are faced with the question of whether their documents are stored in an audit-proof manner. In this context, the question often arises: What does “audit-proof” exactly mean?

If you talk to three different people, you will get 4 different answers, such as

Vendor Invoice Management creates scope for strategy

SAP-VIMFinance executives often spend a lot of time maintaining operations instead of investing in business innovation. The target should actually be that the value is above 50%. In reality, over 70% of the time is spent analysing and auditing data.

This is where the electronic invoice workflow comes into play.
It automates and simplifies processes around incoming invoices.
Various aspects play a role here: paper-based invoices mean too high costs, there are exceptions in 15% of all invoices, discounts and payments are missed in 80% of cases.

For many years, OpenText VIM (Vendor Invoice Management for SAP Solutions) has been a market-leading solution for invoice management in SAP environments.
It reduces operating costs by 50%, eliminates human typing errors, increases productivity by 55%, increases document efficiency by 75%, increases capacity to respond to incoming requests faster, and saves 85% of the time spent searching for customer documents.

By the way: Did you know that OpenText VIM can now also process invoice-related documents? These include order confirmations, delivery notes, quotations, purchase orders and credit notes.

Are you curious? We would be happy to show you the advantages of OpenText VIM in a demo. Please feel free to contact us.

Our Culture Our Brand – Steering Board

Our Culture Our Brand

Being adaptable in a pandemic and being able to react quickly to the new circumstances and changes requires short decision-making paths and fast change processes. A flat hierarchy is certainly an advantage here.

Even in less extraordinary situations, this results in many advantages from which the iXenso Group has long benefited. For many years, the modern organisational structure has been part of the philosophy of founder and CEO Thomas Kleiner. By no means does this correspond to a dictatorship; on the contrary, we rely on a high degree of participation, personal responsibility and agility among our employees. The most important areas of the company are staffed with service owners, so that topics such as processes and quality are anchored accordingly. xECM unb ByD – a strong connection

More and more companies are relying on the advantages of SAP Business by Design (SAP ByD). The cloud-based Business Suite facilitates essential business processes such as accounting and project management. iXenso has also been relying on SAP ByD for some time and appreciates the advantages that e.g. continuous processes and meaningful dashboards offer.
But where to put the documents that are created in the daily work? How would it be to have them available directly from ByD without having to purchase expensive cloud storage?
We asked ourselves these questions again and again and the idea was born to bring xECM from OpenText together with SAP ByD. For this task, iXenso created a special enabler and ensures a seamless integration of both systems. Continue reading xECM unb ByD – a strong connection

powercloud integrates iXenso output management as a powerApp: Pace-setter for customer communication and PDF/online billing

Logo powercloud

  • Customizable approach specifically for energy suppliers
  • Output management is comprehensively linked with powercloud
  • Dynamically generated files ensure increased efficiency

(powercloud, Offenburg, 19.1.2021) Enterprise Output Management (EOM) is a central building block in the digitalization of many power supply companies (PSCs) – and for good reason: The automated creation of PDF files, emails, etc. massively reduces the effort and costs involved in customer communication. Key basic requirements for success: EOM systems must be connected to the company’s workflows and content in a faultless and completely smooth manner. That is precisely what forms the technological basis of the new offer from powercloud: The SaaS solution for the energy industry can now be connected absolutely seamlessly with the highly efficient EOM system from iXenso, a digitalization specialist headquartered in Freiburg, Germany.

This enables PSC users to benefit from the pace-setters in the customer communications industry: The desired output files are dynamically generated and fed into the required channels based on the input from the powercloud and the customer master data. It is no longer necessary to create and maintain different templates and versions of a form. Instead, a multi-template construction kit is used. Individual process steps are defined simply using “drag & drop”. “We are very confident in this solution, which plays to its strengths in the complex and multifaceted field of customer communication in the energy industry” explains Thomas Kleiner, CEO and founder of iXenso. “Our scalable EOM system is perfectly suited to mass production and, at the same time, can be adapted to the PSC’s highly specific needs. The subsequent process ranges from automated text-block creation, including the customer approach, through to linking the communication with the associated contract in the powercloud digital archive. It doesn’t get any easier or faster than that.”
